Our Objectives
"Redrow is committed to a policy of continual improvement in its delivery on Corporate Social Responsibility issues."
We have analysed the impact of our business on all stakeholders, both internal and external. This has enabled us to further develop our strategy and supportive policies to facilitate benchmarking, performance monitoring and progressive target setting. It also enables us to address the social, environmental and ethical risks that we encounter.
In doing this, we have been mindful to balance our obligations to our shareholders in terms of financial performance with our responsibilities to other stakeholders and the communities in which we work.
- We aim to make Redrow an employer of choice by not only providing competitive pay and benefit packages, but by offering all staff the opportunity to enhance their learning and personal development through our own in-house training department and purpose-built facility, training@redrow
- We aim to attract top calibre graduates through the Redrow Graduate Placement Scheme, offering them the opportunity to grow their experience and develop their careers.
- We aim to support and encourage the proper training of a skilled site-workforce for the future through the Redrow Apprentice Scheme. This gives young people the opportunity to combine on-the-job experience with training towards a recognised qualification.
- We aim to further improve awareness of health and safety issues and reduce our accident rates through the continuing work of our dedicated in-house Health and Safety Team, which reports directly to the Chief Executive.
- We aim to deliver a higher standard of customer service and quality through our continually improved Customer Service and Subcontractor Service Procedures, designed to promote the right culture throughout the entire business process.
- We aim to build on our achievements in tackling corporate social responsibility issues, by continuing to work with our supply chain in areas of ethical sourcing, health and safety and care of the environment through target setting and performance measurement.
- We aim to continue to provide sustainable environments in which people can live and work, through focus on high quality design, enhanced by the integration of environmentally friendly innovations and technology.
- We aim to continually improve our Environmental and Waste Management policies through benchmarking, monitoring and target setting to improve our recycling of materials, reduce landfill usage and minimise our impact on the environment.
- We aim to provide accommodation and related assistance for vulnerable groups within the communities in which we work through our contribution to the Redrow Foundation.
