The ‘House for the Future’ was built by Redrow at the Museum of Welsh Life, St. Fagans, Cardiff.
This environmentally friendly home designed by Justico and Whiles incorporates a host of innovative ideas which promote sustainability, including a ‘green’ roof, micro-processor controlled heating and cooling, ground heat pump technology, waste recycling facilities and excellent thermal insulation provided by sheeps wool.
Building upon the experience gained from this project, Redrow has reviewed and is considering introduction of some of these features into our product range.
