It is Redrow’s policy to continuously scrutinise construction details to design out waste. Allied to this strategy Redrow has introduced a standard waste management policy, which is progressively being introduced to all sites.
- Waste is segregated into four waste streams to encourage re-cycling where possible and to reduce landfill volumes and subsequent costs.
- A benchmarking exercise has been carried out and monitoring and evaluation of data from each site is reported on a monthly basis to the Regional Board Meetings
- This data is collated, audited and used to re-set future targets.
